After completing her medical training, Dr. Kennedy-Nasser spent 5 years as a pediatric hematologist & oncologist at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she divided her time between seeing patients and participating in research activities. In 2013, she left her academic position to pursue an old-fashioned medical practice that caters to families who want to spend time with their physician, be involved in their medical care and ultimately raise happy and healthy children. She has vast experience in all aspects of general pediatric care, from healthy newborns to the most complicated and chronically ill children, as well those with hematologic disorders or cancer. She is married to Dr. Dean Nasser, and is the mother of 4 children, ranging from 5 to 20 years. In her spare time, she is an enthusiastic runner and triathlete.

Practice Philosophy

VIPediatRx is the pediatric arm of River Oaks Doctors Group and our mission is simple: treat the patients as if they were our own. Typical pediatric practices have overcrowded waiting rooms, long wait times and many patients to see in a day. VIPediatRx was born out of a vision to change the way we provide pediatric care to form long-lasting and trusting relationships with our patients.

The practice is limited to a small number of families so that we can provide personalized medicine, including around-the-clock direct physician access, house calls and a pediatrician to navigate the medical world for you. We arrange all necessary consults, imaging, laboratory, vaccines, physical therapy, speech therapy or educational assistance necessary to ensure your child is medically, spiritually and socially well.

Because we understand that life can be busy, we offer flexible hours and guarantee on-time appointments. We appreciate that time is limited and our most valuable asset, and we value our time with you.
