She worked at both St Lukes Episcopal hospital (2006-2008), and Methodist Hospital (2008-2019) caring for acutely ill hospital hospitalized patients. She served as the Chief of the Medical Clinic hospitalist section from 2011 until 2019 when she opted to transition into outpatient concierge medicine. During her time as a hospitalist she served on multiple committees and authored the governing regulations for the hospitalist section at Houston Methodist.

Dr. Mynderse joined River Oaks Doctors Group in June of 2019 in order to practice in a manner that allows closer interaction and long-term relationships with her patients. Practice Philosophy

I truly believe that a successful doctor patient relationship is a partnership. I enjoy forming relationships with my patients to better understand their individual needs, in order to come up with a treatment plan that will be successful for them. Many of the disease processes that we deal with as internal medicine physicians are lifelong illnesses that can be both daunting and frustrating to patients.   I believe my role as a physician is to ease some of this burden for my patients by using both up to date knowledge of the issues they are facing, along with empathy for what they are experiencing.

The style of practice at River Oaks Doctors Group fosters long term relationships between our doctors and their patients and also provides an ideal setting for short term management and consultation. This allows for better management of both acute and chronic complications of complex diseases, better overall health outcomes, and a more pleasant healthcare experience for patients.
